8/01/2004 03:22:00 PM|||Joe|||Well, life sure has been interesting lately. Finished my first week at Thomson-West. I actually enjoyed it. So the work itself isn't necessarily exciting, but the material I'm editing is great (usually involves opinions delivered by the Supreme Court). Which makes it hard to do my job (in other words, I shouldn't be reading the texts, just scanning them). But it's good.
I've kept the Sears job for the time being. Though today gave me second thoughts. Almost 9 hours without a real break. Holy crap.
Helped my cousin move this weekend. She's totally living the whole city life thing. It's great - her new digs absolutely rock. Under different circumstances, I'd live in that area. Different circumstances being that I didn't work in Eagan and that I was above average at parallel parking.
I'm not sure what Eagan is. Is it a suburb? I have no idea. It's this weird... sprawling thing. There seems to be less concentrated housing. Of course this opinion is probably completely flawed, due to the fact that I know only 3 streets in this town.|||109139979017538467|||The New Job
