9/10/2004 12:10:00 PM|||Joe|||It occurred to me that there's been much less talk, as far as I can tell, about possible terrorism on the third anniversary of 9/11 than there was the last two years.

My initial thought was cynical and hopefully untrue—that terror alerts long ago became a political, rather than public safety issue.

Is there less talk because of that? Or because there is nothing actually planned? Or maybe there is something planned, but they're well–organized? I'm sure nothing will happen, and we haven't suffered any terrorist–type attacks since the anthrax scare, but it is hard to know how to react to all this.

Whatever is going on, I have managed to track down a few articles. This one is interesting.

And a new Al Qaeda tape has been released. Haven't “experts” been saying for years that the release of video or audio tapes often function as a signal or to communicate a message?

Hmmm.|||109484377959445055|||Getting Back to Normal?
