• A mushroom cloud over N. Korea
• The assault weapon ban expiring
• Putin is consolidating power
• We're still losing ground in Iraq
• Batman scaled Buckingham Palace

Too much. Yikes. What's even scarier is that the damn caped crusader got as much coverage as anything else, at least on google news.
