All this will catch up with these jerks. Maybe not all of them. But this sort of behavior is so undemocratic, so un-American.

And now, what do the Republicans expect? And by Republicans, I mean the officials and politicians — not your aunt and uncle in Oklahoma. Do they think that they're gonna do the same thing they did 4 years ago? Have they any shame that they stole Florida's electoral votes? Do they think that the Democrats are going to concede defeat if the results are anything other than an obvious win for Bush?

At what point does a person admit or even realize that what they've done is awful? Lee Atwater converted to Catholicism and apologized on his death bed for what he'd done. That's great and all, but I wish he'd had that epiphany in 1988. Just like I wish that Rove would get a conscience.

I guess I'm just so angry because a lot of decent people out there trust these crooks. And I get mad at people who spew rhetoric about the virtues of democracy while undermining it.
