They've fired their Washington bureau chief for “speak[ing] to the press about company business.”

Come on. What if a broadcaster wanted to pre-empt regular shows with an airing of Outfoxed or F 9/11 or whatever, and fired their Washington bureau chief for objecting in the press?

I'm 100% sure the same people who defend Sinclair now would find some circumstantial detail that changed everything.

Sinclair's stock is down 12% since October 11. Are the people calling the shots so partisan that they will not only possibly violate election laws, but do so at the expense of shareholders?

This is why media consolidation is bad, folks. Don't think that just because you may want the same candidate corporate media wants means that you're on the same team.
