12/15/2004 05:15:00 PM|||Joe|||There are some serious drawbacks to this whole global network thing. And to google. This stuff ends up reminding me of crap I don't want to remember. All because I was a little curious and typed some crap into google's text field.

As if life isn't screwed up enough on its own. Now I have to worry about bitter people melting down childhood items into bracelets.

The rest of this entry is addressed to someone in particular (who I know reads this; server logs). It won't make much sense to most of you. Those of you who are confused, feel free to ignore the rest or to skip down to the Cracklin' Bran Oats picture. If that's your kind of thing.

I'm not even entirely sure it's a good idea to write anything about this. It's probably a horrible idea. But I'm angry.

I asked you almost a year ago to send my things (COD or whatever). My college diploma. A couple sentimental items from my childhood. You didn't, and apparently have destroyed/donated/sold some of it. Most doesn't matter, but some does.

It was rude and inconsiderate. And unkind.

I don't know if you wanted my attention or not (I'm guessing by “Season's Greetings” that you may have). But you got it, and this is the extent of my attention. You want to destroy my stuff? Fine. Don't contact me. I'm only putting this on my blog because I don't want any contact. I just wanted to express my anger. Good job.

Whatever. Maybe it's a fair trade. I'll trade the past for the future. You want to be vindictive? Fine. Your vindictiveness per se doesn't bother me. Just the effects. Like my stuff being destroyed. But there's nothing I can do to stop it, is there? So whatever.

Ok, enough of that.

To anyone else who's read this far, umm, here's the fake cereal box cover from “Interrogation”:

If you had to read through that garbage, at least you can now read the crazy crap that Alex put on the cover of the cereal box. I think it's funny.

Anyway, it's times like this that I really appreciate the positive aspects of my current situation and life in general.|||110315987764169682|||Fair Trade
