Granted, my apartment is remarkably well-insulated. At least compared to what I'm used to. Yeah, they didn't exactly excel at that sort of thing down in southern New Mexico.
You know, I think I'd be more into this if it weren't for the ice. I can actually handle the cold, but I've already almost slipped several times. It's not like you can easily tell the ice from the puddles. So you end up walking around looking like you have crippling hemorrhoids. Or at least that's how I imagine I look. And it'll be a freakin miracle if I get through this winter without getting into at least one minor accident. Nothing is more fun than sliding 20 feet and wildly alternating between pumping and flooring the brakes. This has happened twice now. So now I drive 20-30 mph.
