Hello Seok Min Choi. That's what I think the title says.
A few hours ago, Seok Min Choi AKA Mr. Mini sent me an instant message. He's from South Korea. Sounds like a nice guy.
He got me thinking, though. We were doing the whole awkward discussion thing, when we stumbled onto something we all can relate to: women and money. He was talking about how his current girlfriend won't marry him until he has 100,000 US $ to buy a house. I think.
Then he told me that I'm lucky to have American citizenship.
That was a serious moment for me. I suppose that I am lucky. He is hoping to get a job in America programming MMORPGs. I hope he does.
He asked me if I was going to be married soon. I told him not — that I'd had a few girlfriends and that things just haven't worked out yet. He asked me if I was a “Cassanova”. I replied that I was not, though it'd be rad if I were.
행운!
P.S. — It's amazing. I try to come across as articulate. But it's a whole different experience when someone who doesn't speak English natively tries to translate your words. Who woulda thunk that “I'm in the wrong business” would introduce so much confusion?|||110473941194308778|||여보세요 최석민(催錫珉)1/03/2005 11:34:00 AM||| Tracy W.|||Don't lie. You're a chick magnet.
