I went digging through some old CD-Rs tonight. I found a lot of weird old stuff. Including email going back to 1997. Need to find a way to convert it so it can be imported into Mail.app, though.
Anyway, I found some things that some people will remember fondly. I'm working on getting them up to speed. Here's the first one: dinoTV. I know Chris will remember this.
I should explain. I was running Debian GNU/Linux at the time. I had configured XDM (the login manager) to look this way. At the upper left is xanim playing a quicktime or avi of a snippet from a Dinosaur Jr. video.

cczernia|||Ahhh. The good ole days with Dino TV. You had to log onto Dino TV and then you had to "p-on" to access the internet. Joe|||Heh. I forgot about good ol' pon and poff. Boy was that irritating.
