I used a feature of Final Cut Pro called "Media Manager". FCP is a non-destructive editor. That means that when you make cuts to video clips, the cut portions are still available. So there's no fear of losing material when you shorten a clip; it's still present on the disk.
What Media Manager does is take a presumably finished sequence and get rid of all the extra footage. This saves disk space. I desperately need to free up disk space.
I did it today with a Flapping Crane skit. Unfortunately, it nuked a couple clips. So I'll have to recapture footage and re-create some effects.
Bah.
I should just buy more external drives.|||112628765247672773|||Final Cut Pro
