Basically, it's just so weird that even other craners said, "I don't get it". On the other hand, it seems that everyone is coming out of a slump (it goes back to the fair, in my opinion), so some good skits are probably going to be shot this weekend. I won't really be involved this week, but I know they'll turn out some gems. Including... wait for it... another Reicher skit. Maybe.

Anyway. Soon I'll be turning my full attention to the DVD. I'll try to make a snazzy one with lots of special features and weird stuff. Not sure if I can pull that off, but we'll see. I'll also work on some VCDs. VCDs, for those of you who don't know, are kind of like DVDs, and they work in most DVD players only they're actually burned on CDs. They're roughly the quality of VHS, but they're cheap and very easy to make. I wouldn't count on them working in PS2s or XBoxes, but I'm not sure.

So we're kicking around ideas for what skits to actually put on there. My rough count shows around 40 (!) skits on the site, not counting the Bonus skits. We've got an idea of what we want to put on it, but if anyone has any favorites they'd like us to include, let me know either here or through email. We need to pare it down, because I'm assuming the average length of the skits is around 5 minutes, so that would mean something like 200 minutes, or around 3 hours, which is way too much to fit on one DVD. Besides, there's no way I'm putting some of those on the DVD. Sorry, I'm not sure "Cuisine avec Rainer" makes the cut.

So let me know. Or let me know if doing this will bring about the apocalypse.|||112916788197446263|||Flapping Crane Stuff10/13/2005 12:35:00 PM|||Blogger cczernia|||Very cool. I'll buy a DVD. Anyway, I think you should have the first one, the zantak one, the subway one, the star wars one. At least one wierd one. Maybe the one with the gerbil.10/19/2005 10:18:00 AM|||Blogger Joe|||Hah hah. I can't believe that both "Finding Enrique" and "Killer Cats" have been requested. Don't get me wrong, I like them. In fact, I think I'm the only Craner that like Killer Cats. I just didn't think they'd be on anyone's list.10/19/2005 02:06:00 PM|||Blogger Joe|||Oh yeah. You kidding? Cuisine outtakes will be the main feature.
